Climate-friendly travel in the Rauris Valley: The public buses, the valley-shuttle bus, the ski bus and the guest shuttle are not just good for the environment.
They also allow all winter holidaymakers to enjoy the natural beauty of the Hohe Tauern National Park in a climate-friendly way, in peace and quiet and to the fullest. Here you will find an overview of our bus connections to and in the Rauris Valley.
Pinzgau East Shuttle - Taxenbach train station to Rauris valley
Pinzgau East Shuttle – Saturday & Sunday
To make your arrival and departure to and from the Rauris Valley easier on weekends, the Salzburg Transport Association offers the Pinzgau East Shuttle.
Operating hours: Saturday & Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (subject to availability)
Reservation: Advance reservation is mandatory. The shuttle can be booked by phone from Monday to Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. at +43 662 265500.
Costs: Free of charge with the Guest Mobility Ticket.

Public bus No. 640
The regional bus 640 runs several times a day between Zell am See and the Raurisertal.
Save-money-tip:
- Skiers from Taxenbach and Bucheben can, with a valid ski pass, take the bus no. 640 to the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen for free.
- Free with the guest mobility ticket
Valley shuttle bus
Our free shuttle bus takes you to the cross-country ski trails in the Hüttwinkltal and to the national park snowshoe tours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
On Mondays and Fridays, the shuttle bus also takes you to the Seidlwinkltal to the Landgasthof Weixen and back again.

Uncomplicated, easy and climate-friendly to the mountain railway with our free ski bus offer.
From Taxenbach and Bucheben, skiers can also be transported free of charge to the Rauriser Hochalmbahn with the bus number 640
with a valid ski pass.
