Winter hiking tips IN THE RAURIS VALLEY
  • Kolm Saigurn snowshoe trail no. 65
    The marked snowshoe trail leads from the Alpengasthof Bodenhaus (1,280 m) to the end of the Kolm Saigurn valley (1,600 m). The free valley bus takes winter sports enthusiasts from Rauris to Bodenhaus and back every Wednesday and Friday.
    Park at the Bodenhaus car park and walk along the toll road, opposite the old hunting lodge is the entrance to the snowshoe trail
    Length: 4 km, elevation: 370, walking time: approx. 3 hours
  • Hochbühl - Hochalm winter hiking trail no. 66
    Park at the Rauris Hochalmbahnen car park, take the gondola to the middle station and walk the winter hiking trail to Hochalm, or drive to the Hochalm mountain station. Cross the piste, the winter hiking trail begins behind the double drag lift.
    Length: approx. 2 km, elevation gain: approx. 200 m, walking time: approx. 1.5 hours

  • Kolm Saigurn No. 64
    Park at the Bodenhaus car park and walk along the toll road to Kolm Saigurn.
    Length: 5.8 km, elevation gain: 350 m, walking time: approx. 2 hours

  • Karalm No. 53
    Walk past the church in the direction of Gaisbachtal and follow the signposted winter hiking trail.
    !Please note: The Karalm is not open in winter!
    Length: 4 km, elevation gain: approx. 470 m, walking time: approx. 1.5 hours
