Under the motto “G’sungen und G’spielt” (“Singing and Playing”), the Salzburg Harvest Festival in the Rauris Valley celebrates tradition, music and living customs. Look forward to atmospheric sounds, regional delicacies and enjoyable hours at the Harvest Festival.

From mid-August onwards, the “fifth season” begins in SalzburgerLand. In the Rauris Valley, authentic experiences await you with traditional music, local crafts and genuine hospitality. Together, we celebrate the harvest season and preserve our traditions with passion and regional charm.

  • 1:00 pm: Festive parade
  • Whip crackers, Schuhplattler dancers and traditional folk dance performances
  • Approx. 3:00 pm: Performance by the Rauris Folk Group
  • Concert by the Traditional Brass Band
  • Approx. 4:00 pm: Ceremonial cattle drive from the alpine pastures
  • Traditional handicrafts
  • Regional delicacies at the Harvest Festival stalls and local inns
  • Varied children’s programme
  • Live musical entertainment throughout the day

The event takes place in all weather conditions.
