Pinzgauer Wallfahrt 28. June
Every year, thousands of pilgrims make the pilgrimage to the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul on June 28th, traveling from the Rauris Seidlwinkl Valley in SalzburgerLand via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road to Heiligenblut in Kärnten.

Krampus time in the Rauris valley
The Krampus time in the Raurisertal is a particularly impressive tradition deeply rooted in Salzburg customs.
Every year around December 5th, the "Toifin," as they are called here, accompanied by St. Nicholas, parade through the Raurisertal to drive away the evil spirits of winter. With their intricately carved masks and loud bells, they create goosebumps and reflect the centuries-old customs.
Those lucky enough to experience this unique tradition in the Raurisertal can feel the power of tradition and the magic of the Alps.
Dates 2026
- December 5th: Toifi day in Rauris & Wörth
- December 6th: Toifi day Oberland
- December 7th: Toifi day Unterland with a visit to the Rauris Advent Market
