The Kitz Via Ferrata is located within Kitzloch Gorge, a fixed-cable climb that presents mountaineers with modern, physically demanding challenges. A very successful rock-climbing route in an exceptionally magical setting, with the constant roar of the water in your ears throughout the tour. It is the perfect addition to one of the most beautiful gorges in the Alpine world. The 300 m-long climb is entirely within the publicly accessible area of the gorge, providing a very different, but also very beautiful view of the gorge. The via ferrata is strength-sapping indeed, with many steep traverses to contend with. Practically the entire length of the tour has been very selectively and creatively laid-out. The "Höhlensprint" variant is currently one of the toughest sections of via ferrata in all of SalzburgerLand.
