The kings of the air in the wild nature are very far, but in the valley of Rauris, however, very close. The Kruml valley presents the guests a unique natural spectacle. Between water falls, rocks and alpine pastures the Kruml brook brings you directly to the birds of Prey of the alps. In summer times you can find between 60- 80 griffon vultures, which spend their summer vacation in the valley of vultures. In 1986, the Rauris valleyl was selected as the site in which to reintroduce the bearded vulture to the Alps (this year will see the final release of bearded vultures into the wild), and since that time you are able to watch these fantastic and impresssiv bird of prey in the Krumltal.
