Excursion Destinations in the Rauris Valley
Taking a vacation in the Rauris Valley and want to get to know the surrounding area as well? Well, in this section we invite you to join us as we take a tour through our region. A schnapps distillery and a microbrewery, the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park - the valley head of Kolm-Saigurn, and a beautiful enclosure for Alpine wildlife. Ride the cable lift to a gloriously scenic winter hiking path on the Rauris Hochalm. And when it comes to taking a break and enjoying refreshments, you'll be in the best of hands - with inns and restaurants scattered throughout the valley, along with cafes perched up in the mountains themselves.

From Salzburg City (50 mins.), to the "Spa Town of the Alps", Bad Gastein (40 mins.), to the famous towns of Bischofshofen (40 mins.), St. Johann (35 mins.) or Zell-am-See and Kaprun (30 mins.) - you are going to discover the broadest imaginable selection of excursion opportunities.

Be sure to visit one of the countless sights and attractions in our immediate vicinity! An absolute must, and one of our most visited destinations, is the famous High-Alpine Road. Or, maybe you'd prefer to spend your day in a deep ravine - best known of all are the Kitzloch and Sigmund-Thun Gorges.
